Weekend Wrap Up
First off, thanks for the birthday wishes for my baby boy, who’s actually not anywhere near being a baby. He had a fantastic birthday and birthday weekend. Of course, his birthday extravaganza turned into LETS HAVE A DRINKFEST, and mama woke up with quite a little headache!
In other news, I FAILED the knitting Ravelympics. I took a quite a big project, and I do believe I would have finished, however - the Olympics just happen to coincide with the most busiest 2 weeks ever. I tried to knit as much as I could, but one huge realization that hit me square between the eyes, I do not have 4 to 5 hours a day to knit. Who knew? But.. it’ll get in time for baby to come, which the dates keeps getting pushed back. We don’t want to talk about that with the mama though - it’s a sensitive subject. So here it is: Blanket as WIP:

I am in love with it, and I can’t wait to for the little bambino to make himself OR herself shown!
So, we have one more day of the this Labor Day weekend - and the weekend thus far was fantastical. Birthdays! Beers! Presents! Sparklers! GOLF! and .. then some much needed outdoor quite time for this mama.
Ahhhh. Sweet Silence.
Damn mosquitoes.
