YAY ME! I got to go out into the world last night, amongst adults and even better they are KNITTERS! Wednesday night is knit night around here and I get to go every now and then when the schedule permits. Last night, I was determined to go after the boy finished soccer practice, even though.. I was a bit late. I really got there just in time. Just in time to give Erin a couple of bucks and what does she bring back? BEER! STELLA’s no less.

Me. about 14 others knitters. Outside cafe that is BYOB!!! Now mind you, I have not been to any other knitting gathering..but honestly? I don’t think there is another one that can compare to this. We laugh to tears. Well, I do anyway. We drink. We knit. (I knitted one whole row last night!) New people show up all the time, so the group just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

So, cheers to you ladies (and one dude!). You guys made me my week.
